Monday Moments Ep 11 – The Best 7 of 2010!!

One of my favorite verses from the Christian Bible is one that says, “Be faithful in little things and you will be accorded Bigger things” or something along those lines. I believe in celebrating little success, no matter how small. If you have visited this blog more than 3 times, then this post is dedicated to you. I intend to go on the down low beginning today, as I prepare for what promises to be a great year for Intervangelist EA in 2011. Lots of ideas, too little time to execute them, but one step at a time and we will get there.

So ladies and gentlemen, here are my best Moments of 2010!! Continue reading ‘Monday Moments Ep 11 – The Best 7 of 2010!!’

The e-Mheshimiwa – Leadership in the Digital Era

Africa is beleaguered by poor leadership. That’s a painful fact that we have to live with day in day out. The way out of this misfortune still remains a far cry despite numerous efforts on the part of many. Often times the question lingers in my mind, “What’s the way out?”.

Yesterday I met a man, a politician, who helped me reshape my perspective of the future of leadership in Africa to a great extent. I would like to acquaint you with Hon. Eng. James G.K Rege, MP. Continue reading ‘The e-Mheshimiwa – Leadership in the Digital Era’

Monday Moments Ep 7 – Of Viral Strategies and Legs…

I have almost recovered from the Girls Rule moments last week. The fact that over half the Creatives I met last week were ladies did not help matters at all. So Finally I have had to accept what the Fluid Tees sheriff  says on his blog, “WOMEN are stronger and must be respected no matter what!!”. No more need be said.

Now, my dear Friends. Does your Viral strategy have legs? And what do you do when your first month in office comes with major network failures and a sleeping customer service department? Oh, and have you figured out where that Venture Capital is coming from? You might also be wondering, what’s new at Intervangelist EA. LET’S GET SOCIAL SAVVY!

I love beer conversations. No need to break the ice since the ice is already broken once that first ice cold drink lands on the table. No need to seek topics of conversation because they miraculously pop up with every sip. Strangers are almost instantaneously bonded in a drunken camaraderie. God bless beer!

I’m not a drunk though; just an ardent proponent of the exchange of life improvement teachings amid merriment. Incidentally, this is the kind I have been having of late with strangers turned acquaintances turned friends. Imagine if one day we all woke up drunk, all across the world! Oh, how social we would all be. Continue reading ‘LET’S GET SOCIAL SAVVY!’

Can the world survive without Google?

I thought I heard you hesitating a little with that answer. Is this one of those questions that causes a slight chill to shoot up your spine? Or maybe your heart skipped a beat for a second there?

If you think about it, the pre-google era was still rich in intellectual exploits, innovations and inventions. People used to research and find information albeit not necessarily at the click of a button. I belong to a generation whose internet life has been quite synonymous with google life, so yes, that question sends a chill up my spine. Continue reading ‘Can the world survive without Google?’

Monday Moments Ep 3 – We are Robots!

In the past few weeks, I have been introduced to such terminologies as Augmented Reality, QR Codes, Context Computing and a bunch of other words that leave you thirsty for an unholy drink. As if that’s not bad enough, I had to help explain these words to people who are still trying to understand what SEO is. Fun Huh? Not a bit. But it was an interesting experience.
